Heated at work

There is a power outage at the WTC and the entire building doesn’t have air conditioning. The computers, UPSs and we - humans, haven’t stopped emitting heat though…

It’s pretty hot here and difficult to breath as well.

Update: forgot to mention, there are no windows here - no air circulation

Ranil's fault or Mahinda's fault?

  2. Don't blame Ranil or Mahinda.
    You should thank whoever responsible,
at least they made you feel hot ;-)

  3. But it always feels good when some one's to be blamed, doesn't it?

  4. I heard that under the new security arrangements all tall buildings have to be blacked out by 7pm?

Is this why you are having a power outage?

The WTC has backup generators, which they should be able to switch on if the mains power fails.

  6. It was bad!

The back up generators were working - but for reasons known to the WTC management, the generators are not sufficient to power the AC... sucks!

btw, parking arrangement at wtc sucks. The need to re-arrange the entrance exit points to the wtc car park now that things are one way. i.e., as you enter, we should be told to turn left (at the first instance) instead of having to go to the second entrance to turn left...
