Three killed and seventeen injured in LTTE terrorist attack- Katunayake

This morning, as I was driving to office, I heard on the radio that LTTE has attacked the Katunayake air port, later I read that it was using a "light wing air craft". Ok.. that's a first for them.
No fighter air crafts have been damaged but three are dead. It's a failed but desperate attack from the loosing lot of barbarians. But the failure from the air force is that they haven’t been able to gun down the dammed “air craft” (which is probably a glider as they presume) which bombed them.

  2. All these are rumors... none of the air crafts were badly damaged. LTTE completed their mission by a failed attempt to bomb SLAF air crafts... But it seems... people like you and the "media" henchmen of LTTE continue from where they stopped. You people try to demoralize our Army by spreading false information. I don't know whether you are a Sri Lankan or not... Tamil or Sinhalese... but dear gentleman... you act as the mouth piece of LTTE... you speak for a terrorist group which killed thousand of innocent Tamil and Sinhalese people.

    Even Indian intellegence unit released the press that two gun ships hired from Pakistan (MI 35s, at least three Kfirs and another Mig got damaged - severely damaged).

    Do not beleive what your government say.

    Last night I visited that Air Base and saw the real damage.

    So better to keep your mouth shut and becoming a henchman of this fucking government.

  4. Anonymous;
    If you really visited the air base, please provide some proof. You are not really credible with the anonymity.
    And please provide us with a link to this Indian intelligence press release.
    As per my personal view, I know nothing about the extent of the damage. So I would refrain from making comments on that. But for the abductions, it’s clearly a setup of anti government bodies. As it’s more of a speculation on pro LTTE or pro UNP media than the unbiased media or pro government media than a fact.
